Superb! Food cooked to perfection, excellent service. Lovely staff! Visited twice in last week and both meals were excellent. Starters of pigeon with roast plums, hen of woods with ox cheek were equally delicious. Beef Rossini was cooked to perfection as were the veg side dishes. The staff are very welcoming and service was 10/10. We will be regular visitors and already looking forward to our next visit

Exceptional food and service. We’ve been here several times in the last year and it is consistently excellent in terms of service and exceptional food. Last nights meal was no exception. Wonderful Pheasant starter, followed by a blast from the past “tournedos Rossini” and finished with a sublime chocolate fondant!! Our other meals were also brilliant and apparently the Apple Tarte Tatin is to die for according to my wife and her friend who was with us! Well done the whole team. Keep it up. Definitely the best restaurant in Pembrokeshire.

Deserves at least a Michelin Star Semi impromptu getaway for our birthdays WHAT a find! Have eaten in many Michelin star restaurants and this was truly up amongst the top end. Decor is no nonsense and a little in contrast to the presentation of incredible dish after dish. duck main and Beef Rosini exceptional. Met with great staff this restaurant deserves more accolades.

A Culinary Masterpiece at "The Links" – Tenby Golf Club (New Year's Eve 2024) As the final moments of 2024 ticked away, I found myself seated in the elegant dining room of "The Links" at Tenby Golf Club, where the team, helmed by the exceptional talent behind their two Michelin stars, promised a feast to usher in the new year with unparalleled flair. Little did I know, this would be more than a meal—it would be a culinary journey, etched into memory as one of the most sublime dining experiences I've ever encountered. The Atmosphere From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was a perfect blend of understated luxury and warmth. The soft lighting, paired with the gentle hum of contented diners and the distant sound of waves from the iconic Welsh coastline, created an atmosphere that felt both celebratory and intimate—ideal for New Year’s Eve. The Service The service was impeccable, as one would expect from a two-star Michelin establishment. The staff moved with effortless precision, offering genuine smiles and thoughtful touches throughout the evening. Each dish was presented with just enough context to intrigue, but without giving away the culinary surprises that awaited. The Menu – A Misleading Prelude If there was one misstep in the evening, it was the written menu. While it listed the components and titles of each course, it did little to capture the artistry, imagination, or visual brilliance of what was served. This was a masterclass in understated descriptions, almost humble, for a menu that deserved prose as vibrant as its execution. Fortunately, the food itself transcended any shortcomings in print. The Food Each course was a symphony of flavors, textures, and colors, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship that has earned "The Links" its enviable Michelin accolades. • Salmon and Caviar. The menu's simplicity—a mere mention of the ingredients—did not prepare diners for the visual and gustatory marvel presented. Arriving on a pristine white plate, the dish was a tableau of delicately arranged elements, each meticulously crafted to perfection. • The salmon, a revelation in itself, was cured to just the right degree, its texture meltingly tender and bursting with the essence of the sea. A subtle smokiness underpinned its natural flavors, offering a depth that was both familiar and unexpected. Paired with pearls of caviar, the dish achieved a harmonious balance of briny sophistication and luxurious richness. The Main Course: The centerpiece of the evening was a slow-roasted Welsh beef and a jus so rich it felt like liquid gold. The beef, cooked to perfection, was tender and succulent, its earthy notes elevated by the fresh accompaniments. It was a plate that spoke of both the land and the love poured into its preparation. • The Dessert: A show-stopping finale of dark chocolate extravaganza, featuring an impossibly light chocolate mousse, a sorbet that sparkled with festive zest, and shards of caramelized hazelnuts for texture. The balance of sweetness and acidity was nothing short of genius. The Presentation Here is where "The Links" truly excelled. Each dish was a visual masterpiece, worthy of a gallery display. The attention to detail in plating transformed every plate into an edible tableau. Delicate smears of vibrant purees, precision-cut garnishes, and the interplay of colours and textures all worked together to create a feast for the eyes. It’s a testament to the team’s artistry that even the simplest-sounding dishes were elevated to haute cuisine. The Verdict As fireworks failed lit up the Tenby sky to welcome 2025 due to poor weather conditions, I reflected on the meal and the immense talent of the team at "The Links." Their ability to turn humble ingredients into unforgettable experiences is nothing short of ‘magical’. My only suggestion? Let the written menu reflect the creativity and passion that the kitchen so clearly embodies. Guests should be as captivated by the words as they are by the plates. I am glad I had a few words with the head chef before I left who was extremely humble. If you're looking for a dining experience that marries the essence of Wales with the ingenuity of modern gastronomy, "The Links" at Tenby Golf Club is unmissable. I will certainly be travelling down from Cardiff to Tenby just for their food alone. Here’s to another stellar year for this culinary powerhouse—2025 holds no bounds for the artistry they bring to the table. Bravo!.

Fabulous food The food was first class, could not fault it. The complimentary bread and marmite butter was absolutely delicious. The restaurant staff are friendly while still being professional. However, the restaurant itself lacks atmosphere and does not to justice to the fabulous food. The tables are easy clean, Formica like, similar to a cafe. For the evening it would be nice if they were laid with a cloth and, instead of a battery operated fake candle, a small tea light, small flower decoration, or nothing at all. The fake tea light does not serve much of a purpose and looks cheap. As previously stated, the food was delicious , and it’s worth a visit if you enjoy good food.

Excellent We are here last night and have to say the service was excellent and food delicious. The only slight negative, was that there was only one other table of diners , but luckily we were a table of four do we made our own atmosphere! Would thoroughly recommend, and hope that they get more custom.

Top quality all round - accommodation, location, service and food. Highly recommended! We and our friends stayed for six nights, with breakfast included, which was absolutely delicious. We ate in various restaurants in Tenby in the evenings, but decided to treat ourselves to something special and have dinner in The Links restaurant on our last night. We all agreed that the service provided by Daniel and the team was fabulous - professional, friendly and attentive to perfection. The meal we enjoyed was the best we've ever had, cooked and presented to a very high standard by the talented chefs. It's not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. We hope to return to stay at The Dunes and enjoy the food at The Links again in the not too distant future. Well done, please don't change anything!

Sunday Lunch Having previously eaten at this venue for breakfast, the 19th hole (Bar) menu, and evening meal, this was our first experience of Sunday Lunch and it certainly did not disappoint! Firstly we were greeted by the perennially cheerful and friendly Sue on reception before being shown to our table by the Hospitality Manager Brendan, who is professionalism personified. Brendan set the warm and welcoming tone that was then echoed by the rest of his staff, namely Cameron, Rhys and Curtis. The food was perfect, from the light fluffy focaccia bread with red onion butter, the roast beef which was both tender and flavoursome, to the roast potatoes and Yorkies, followed by a choice of exquisite desserts. It was also excellent value for the quality, and we will definitely be back!

Stunning fine dining… This is easily the best restaurant in Tenby. 5 minute walk from the town centre, beautiful setting. Lovely varied menu with exquisite food and very caring and enthusiastic service. The wine is obviously carefully selected and is very reasonable. Absolutely fantastic. Situated in Tenby Golf Club but membership not necessary. Book on line.

Sunday Lunch 100% Recommended!! From the moment we arrived today the staff look after us. Always a good sign when the restaurant is busy. Nothing too much effort. We had an amazing Sunday roast dinner. I don’t think you would get a more tasty roast dinner in the area. We had the beef and it was outstanding. So tender and not an ounce of fat in sight. The accompanying veg was cooked to perfection. Topped off with a large Yorkshire pudding. Presentation was first class. This was followed by sticky toffee pudding. Wow! The service was spot on with Rhys behind the bar and our server Curtis. Will definitely return as excellent value for such high quality

Outstanding Food and Service - Go There I write every few reviews but thought this one was worthwhile as it was the best restaurant experience I have had in years. I have tried to give a full review as I think the staff deserve it. So please be patient. The Summary is "go there, the food and service are excellent!" The Service; was outstanding. They cared, a rare thing. From the hotel (The Dunes) Receptionist to the Head Chef and all in-between. The restaurant service was spot on, attentive, timely but not intrusive. But more importantly my wife is allergic to Tarragon, which is rare. When the usual question of "any allergies" comes up there is usually a look of derision and annoyance. In this case the Receptionist discussed it with the Senior Sous Chef who also called the Head Chef (Duncan Barham) who was on holiday. We were advised of menu options later that afternoon and in the evening my wife was presented with a bespoke menu just for her ( see photos). That is a team that really cares and acts upon it. The Presentation; of the food was presented beautifully. It looked appetising rather than being a piece of art that was "form over function". Enough presentation to enhance the food rather than get in the way. The Food; was sublime, Cooked to perfection, great flavour, succulent pork and earthy pink duck, silky smooth and glossy sauces and enough to be well satisfied. I have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants where I was looking for the takeaway on the way home. I wanted a meal and to feel satisfied rather than a three hour graze and this is what I received. As a side note, the kitchen was calm, unhurried and in control. Run by the Senior Sous Chef at the time. Value for money? It isn't cheap, nor is it eye wateringly expensive. for what we received and the way we were cared for, it was good value for money and I look forward to returning. (NB, the wine prices were reasonable too).
